Don’t forget our upcoming planting day is the last one for this season! The ground is still nice and soggy and there are a couple of trays of plants still waiting for their ‘forever home’. The rest of the season we’ll be focusing on installing the nursery and growing next year’s plants and trees, doing a couple of “rescue missions” for plants that might otherwise get overgrown by invasive climbers and some more predator control.
We had great fun the last couple of Sundays, so join us this Third Sunday of the Month on the 17th of September, from 10 am – 1 pm, at Matuku Link.
Ample parking on site at 111 Bethells Road, opposite the fire station. Bring spades, gloves, gumboots and something to add to our shared lunch if you can. Morning tea, coffee, soup and bread will be provided.
