Jacqui's Trees

Our dear volunteer, photographer and environmentalist Jacqui Geux passed away on Tuesday 4th of October, just a couple of days before her sixtieth birthday. We planted a puriri tree to commemorate her, in the spot where she photographed the significant scientific discovery of a robin eating a fungus. If you would like to add trees to our project in her honor, we are certain she would appreciate your support for the project where she spend so much time - taking photographs, helping out with weeding and planting, spotting birds, capturing records for iNaturalist - and just enjoying the bush. - picture by Jacqui of some of our our kauri trees PS All donations over $5 are tax deductible as Matuku Link is a charitable trust.
