Tuna Earrings
Inspired by Aotearoa’s remarkable tuna (freshwater eels), these earrings celebrate one of nature’s most extraordinary migrations. After spending decades in our lakes and rivers, tuna undertake an epic journey thousands of kilometres into the Pacific Ocean to spawn. Their next generation then drifts back to Aotearoa, beginning the cycle again.
Made from recycled 3D printer waste, these earrings are a reminder of the resilience of our freshwater ecosystems and the importance of protecting the waterways these remarkable creatures depend on.
