Hands-on volunteering
Depending on the season and the weather, we’ll be weeding, planting or working in the nursery. Our regular working bees are:
- every Tuesday from 9am to 12pm with a social, cake-filled morning tea.
- every Third Sunday of the month, starting at 10 am and finishing at 1 pm with a shared lunch – hot drinks, soup or salad supplied.
- Always: our volunteers run our pest control projects, help with bird surveys and education, give guided tours and generally support us with their knowledge and expertise.
More info in this post here. Or contact Annalily, hello@matukulink.org.nz with questions or if it’s your first time out to Matuku Link. We’d love to see you!
Partners
The success of Matuku Link would not be possible without the support of people, businesses and organisations who have given generously of time, money and materials. Most materials used in renovating the barn and building our accessible walkways are either donated or sold to the trust at cost by friendly suppliers. Thank you to all our sponsors for your generosity.
