Stream Life By Night

Help as find all the different creatures living in our streams and waterways under the full moon. This is your chance to get up close and personal with our tuna kuwharuwharu (long-finned eels), learn all about their incredible life cycle and the journey they make all the way out to the deep trenches near Tonga. Go spotlighting for īnanga, check out the macroinvertebrates, and discover other freshwater life in our wetlands. Join us and enjoy the full moon and the ambience of Matuku Link by night.
$5 per person, under 12-year olds free
