As most people will be doing other things (Easter egg hunt?) on our usual Third Sunday of the month in April, we’re getting together on the Fourth Sunday in stead. So our next Working Bee will be on:

Sunday 28th of April, from 10 am

We hope to see you there to help us clearing the grass from the plants, constructing the barn into our Wetland Education Centre, do potting and planting in our nursery or any other task at hand. If there is anything you specifically like to do, drop us a line.

It usually is nice weather, so we can enjoy the free NiceBlocks ice creams from our friends Tommy and James at Little Island Creamery, and if it is cooler we’ve got soup, bread, tea, coffee and Girl Scout cookies to keep you going. We’ll stop around 1 pm for a shared lunch (optional) and a good chat.

There is no public transport unfortunately to our site, but there are ample parking spots, and the opportunity to go to the beach afterwards. Let us know if you’ve got any questions, otherwise just turn up at 111 Bethells Road, with suitable gear (sunscreen and/or rain coats) and sturdy, CLEAN, footwear.

Hope to see you there! – Annalily & the trustees – matukulink@gmail.com
