Spiral Drilling Civic not only donated the HUGE piles that are needed to support the bridge on the north side of the river, they also supplied the machinery which came on a HUGE truck and most importantly the experts who knew how to ram those piles exactly where the engineer wanted them.
A HUGE shout out to them, and especially project manager Ben, to donate their work and time, and fitting it all in between jobs. The bridge is a vital part of our Accessibility Walk – a one kilometer loop for people on wheels – with buggies, walkers or wheelchairs. Even though we received a grant from the Lotteries Foundation, we can’t do our project without the donation of time and effort by generous businesses.
