Working bees… they keep on giving work!
Since January 2017 we’ve been having our working bees on every third Sunday of the month. For 2019 it won’t be any different, our dates are:
- Sunday January 20th
- Sunday February 17th
- Sunday March 17th
- Sunday April 28th (in stead of Easter Sunday 21st)
- Sunday May 19th
- Sunday June 16th
- Sunday July 21st
We’ll start work at 10 am, usually a mixture of nursery work, building, weeding, watering, clearing… depending on the weather, time of year and ability and interest of available volunteers. If there is anything you specifically like to do, drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org. We work (fortified by home baking if you’re lucky!) until 1 pm and share a lunch (optional). Bring something to share if you can, we’ll provide coffee, tea, soup and bread.
No public transport unfortunately but ample parking spots, and the opportunity to go to the beach afterwards. Let us know if you’ve got any questions, otherwise just turn up at 111 Bethells Road, with suitable gear (sunscreen and/or rain coats) and sturdy and CLEAN footwear.
Hope to see you there! – Annalily & the trustees
